The attention to detail and customer service that Ryan and Maggie bring to projects is unsurpassed
We have used Ohana Home & Design for two major home projects: – a complete demolition and replacement of our kitchen, including upgrades to the dining room and electrical fixtures and capacity that extended into our great room, plus ceiling repair, retexturing, and great room painting – a full replacement of our upstairs bathroom (fully reimagined design, rip and replace including new fixtures, tile, glass enclosed shower, replacement of infrastructure (insulation and drywall) and of course all plumbing.
The attention to detail and customer service that Ryan and Maggie (and Kristin for the bathroom project) bring to projects is unsurpassed in my experience. The methodology that Ohana employs to gather requirements up front, document the findings (in a workbook, including pricing and payment milestones) with full disclosure and input from the client, and the delivery tools employed (online scheduling and status, real – time) drives to full transparency and customer satisfaction.
Ryan, Maggie and Kristin made regular visits to our work site to ensure that the project was on track and performance standards delivered by all project resources were at the highest level. Every contracting team that was brought in for each phase of our projects was clearly vetted to fully understand their project deliverables and that they were representatives of the overall Ohana project. In our experience, no request, however small and as long as it was in the predefined project scope, was not addressed directly by Ryan and Maggie (in more than one case, by Ryan performing the work himself).
Finally, I must emphasize that the principals at Ohana and the resources that they employ are just fun to work with. Both of our projects involved significant invasive impact to our home, and to a person we were treated with respect, with an orientation to delivering quality work while maintaining a positive environment focused on making the invasive impact worth the result. Ask Ryan and Maggie about the Hawaiian genesis of the Ohana name – that will help you to understand what you can expect for a great home and design experience.
