Our People

Hawaiian word for family, kin group or extended family

Ryan and Maggie Sewell remodeled homes together for five years before forming Ohana Construction Inc in 2005 as a small firm specializing in residential remodeling. As our name suggests, we are family owned and we personally manage every project we take on. We have great passion for working with our clients and trusted group of trade partners as we design, build, remodel, and take your vision and turn it into a reality.

Our persuasion is simple: Listen, trust, and respect.

We listen, we observe, we respond to your needs, and then we translate that knowledge into the surroundings of your dreams. We listen to the past, the present, and the future. This enables us to guide you toward discovering the renovation that will suit your needs for years to come.

We trust that you will come to us with your questions, and you trust us to be completely honest with you in return. Our goal is to provide you with a renovation that is functional, beautiful, and adds value both to your home and to your life. We understand that renovating your home is a large investment. We offer a variety of effective solutions that fit many budgets and we always provide estimates and costs upfront.

We respect your home as if it was our own. We take pride in keeping your home as neat and clean as possible throughout the project. Your preferences are important to us and we do our best to ensure your needs are met every step of the way.

YOUR "GO TO GUY" With almost 20 years of experience in the remodeling industry, Ryan knows how to build a thing or two. He thinks "outside the box" and is always one step ahead in all that he does. He will never "fluff" an answer - if he doesn't know the answer to a question, you can bet he will be calling you
back later with the details.
